vidar landa and his band made their live debut at the visefestivalen in egersund in the summer of 2025, a year in which they released a fantastic debut album, several singles, and received a lot of praise from all corners of the world. they have been on the main stage of øyafestivalen, and made it impossible for us not to put them on the tideless stage.

vidar is probably still best known as the guitarist in the rock band kvelertak, and with king hüsky he has proven himself to be a pop craftsman far above the average, with an irresistible flair for melody, and the ability to write lyrics that both evoke tears and laughter during a verse and a chorus. new music is already being worked on for 2026, and we are pretty sure we will get a taste of it when it appears at our festival.
