lady hardanger consists of musicians from frøkedal & familien, bergen mandolinband and stanley brinks & the kaniks, and traveled from western norway, stumbled into the gumbo pot in louisiana and found beautiful pop songs in the berlin underground. that is how they ended up playing a free-spirited mix of cajun music, old time, calypso, pop and norwegian traditional music.
